Job Title: Foxpro and PreS Specialist

Job Description

Our client has an opening for a programmer with experience of developing document applications using Pres (Printsoft). Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Foxpro will be an advantage.

Work with the CRM to understand and analyse client requirements.

Review and understand client data and business logic

Read and understand the development brief/spec provided by the client and or CRM

Understand print production requirements for print or other output medium

Build Visual Foxpro code and PreS scripts for processing and production of documents

Maintain and update existing Print applications according to changes of requirements

Arrange for applications to be part of the automated environment if relevant

Update and progress in-house systems

Support live application errors and solve program errors where appropriate

Test and provide examples and proofs for audit and sign off.

Ensure program source is maintained appropriately

Possesses extensive knowledge of PreS, and Visual Foxpro

SQL and other languages such as PHP and .NET would be an advantage

Experience of working with Print & Mail industry

Understand print and production capabilities of the business

Job Ref: MASS 1000 Hours: Full Time Location: South East London / London Working Term: Permanent Position Salary: £22,000 - £30,000
