Job Title: Household Underwriter

Job Description

Role Overview:

To assist in the profitable development of the property account in line with Group objectives, ensuring delivery of individual account plans in line with overall agreed plan and withregular reporting of detailed account performance as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the management of all EDI and Open Market accounts managed within London.

Produce monthly reports on each nominated account to cover performance, new business volumes and renewal retention patterns together with high level claims performance.

To deal with underwriting queries and referrals from brokers within agreed authority limits.

Assist the Underwriting Manager as necessary.

To be personally responsible for the profitable development of designated accounts in line with loss ratio and growth targets.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following skillset:

Experience in a property underwriting team with specific experience in EDI and Standard broker business.

Ability to accurately interpret data and management information to support profitable account performance.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels, specifically with external suppliers and partners.
