Job Description
Location: Peterborough
Purpose of the Job:
To set up & operate machinery across the production environment, consistently and efficiently producing quality products to fully satisfy all our Client’s requirements.
Main Duties:
To set up operate the following machines and systems:
Polywrap & Paper enclosing machines
Camera Image Systems
Online / offline Inkjet systems
Folding and finishing machines
Strapping systems
Pick & place
Main duties and responsibilities:
Check the contents of the job bag and review instructions
Raise concerns immediately where potential issues may occur
Check the machine is set correctly with all correct components
Obtain sign off from a Team Leader or other manager at the start of the job
Instruct assistants with relevant job information, and ensure maximum efficiency is attained throughout the run
Ensure all Quality Control and H & S measures, procedures and requirements are met at all times
Ensure all Production admin is completed before, during and at the end of the job
Highlight machine deficiencies as soon as possible to the Maintenance Dept.
Maintain a clean and tidy working area at all times
Organise stock picks and ensure that the machines are well stocked at all times to maintain machine uptime.
