Job Description

Location:    Peterborough
 
Purpose of the Job:
To account manage all allocated client mailings ensuring service excellence is achieved through:
a “can-do” and efficient approach to service
100% quality of output for all aspects of account management
adherence to all deadlines/service level agreements (SLA’s)  
 
Main Duties:
To anticipate Client needs and wants & identify requirements.
To meet with Clients on a regular basis to review the service offered and check Client satisfaction.
To meet with Clients to review a specific mailing campaign.
To provide support to the other members of the Client Services Team and department as and when required.
To liaise with Clients regarding the scheduling of jobs, negotiating reasonable timescales whilst still aiming to meet Client needs and ensuring any regulatory requirements for mailings are adhered to.
To ensure that all work undertaken is correctly priced to ensure maximum profitability
To ensure the successful delivery of Client mailings through strict adherence to SLA’s and all company processes and procedures.
To communicate efficiently and effectively with the Operational and Development Teams through the process agreed. For example the instant the job is confirmed by the Clients it should be booked in, preparing and delivering job briefs, work requests and docket requests on time, ensuring stock is ordered/delivered on time and moved to the appropriate location.
To build rapport and develop good working relationships with the Operational and Development Teams to ensure all aspects of the Clients work are understood.
To check the progress of own jobs and teams jobs where required through the various stages of production and keep the Client informed at all times by the agreed method.
To complete all necessary production systems documentation.
To obtain a sign off for all documentation by the Client where appropriate (specifically print proofs, job briefs, enclosing sample packs, purchase orders for pre-print).
To invoice Clients within 3 days of completion of the job.
To complete a full reconciliation for all jobs.
To undertake any other duties as and when required.
Be proactive at all times and have the ability to apply logic, yet remain creative to maximise market potential.
Hold client meetings providing minutes and ensuring any actions are completed as required.
Assist or undertake client presentations with the production of a presentation.
Keep up to date with new initiatives within the business including new clients, machinery, structure change, new applications etc.
Develop existing client business and be responsible together with the Client Services Team Leader and/or Client Services Manager for the management of accounts within the team.
Remaining calm under pressure at all times.
Create and provide job incident reports when required within 48 hours of the issue being identified or raised.
Assist the Client Services Team Leader and/or Client Services Manager with training of staff within the department.
Produce reporting for the Client Services Team Leader and/or Client Services Manager and/or Head of Client Services as required.
Attend one to one monthly meetings and work towards completing individual objectives set by the Client Services Team Leader and/or Client Services Manager.
