Job Title: Property Claims Handler/Adjuster

Job Description

On behalf of a leading Lloyds Syndicate, we are looking for a North American Property Claims Adjuster / Handler to adjust and settle claims under various property accounts. Carry out enquiries on large claims movements under certain non-lead accounts and assist in major catastrophe monitoring.

Main Duties:

Operate appointments/deposit/ECF systems with brokers on lead accounts

Adjust and settle claims up to designated authority

Monitor and call for reports on large losses under non-lead accounts

Assist with administration of claims bordereaux, analysis and validation of data under US Property

Report to and liaise with Senior Claims Handlers and Claims Management

Liaise with other departments/Underwriters as necessary

Participate in monitoring major catastrophes affecting the syndicate

Attendance at market meetings

Liaise with Underwriters at international offices

Job Ref: MASS 972 Hours: Full Time Location: London Working Term: Permanent Position Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
