Overall responsibility for the Security Team (whose key responsibility is the protection of all site employees and assets), and to assist in the site security operation, our aim is to provide a service that exceeds our customer requirements and optimises on service excellence.

As a Security Site Supervisor you will take on managerial responsibility for leading and setting an example for all Security Officers on duty during your shift. You will also remain hands on with the standard Security Officer duties but you will have more of a supervisory focus and will report into Senior Management and the Client.

The general routine of duties will include;

Supervision of Team and Individuals
Overseeing all Security Duties
Compiling Security reports
Investigations
Motivation and Management of security officers
Rostering and Holiday Planning
Training & Staff development
Appraisals
Security Risk Assessment Patrols
Liaising with the client and senior management
Dealing with visitors and members of the public
Fire Alarm Checks
Other Security related duties

Competancies:

Must have a valid SIA licence.
Must have a solid, traceable work history.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate that they are flexible and can work as part of a dedicated team.
Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Be of smart appearance, generally fit and in good health.
Clearly communicate requests for emergency assistance to emergency services.
Excellent report writing skills
Be enthusiastic and committed to providing a high level of service as part of a Security team. The role involves working 12 hour shifts on a rota basis, covering days, nights and Weekends.
Customer focused at all times.
Maintain a sense of calm and control in crisis situations.
Use initiative to possible situations, ability to think on their feet.
Capable of working on tasks in individual and team environments.

Desirable:

Hold Current First Aid at Work Certificate
Hold Basic Health and Safety Qualifications
Computer literate
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
