Job Description
Payroll Book Keeper
Manage umbrella company payroll solution (Accentra)
Provide support to sales when signing new clients
Ensure clients payroll is managed effectively
Management of payments and transfers
Manage all invoicing, payments and debt collection
Post sales support to all clients
Ensure company is up to date with HMRC payroll and taxation legislation
Manage commission structure for internal staff
Manage commission structure and remuneration / incentives for externals (referrals and consultants)
Report manager – regular printing of reports
Hiring, training and management of additional payroll staff
Administrator
Organise and maintain payroll filing system.
Ensure all contract paperwork is current and accurate (timesheets, contracts, extensions etc…)
Evaluate, recommend and initiate improvements where required.
Team tasks
Answering calls and taking messages for team
Assisting payroll / sales consultants with technical problems
Assisting payroll / sales consultants with all administrative issues
Training tasks
Train all payroll and sales members on systems usage, mainly process and Accentra application.
Train all payroll and sales staff on umbrella procedures
Project Manager
Working alongside directors
Source and engage bank with volume bacs/chaps facility. Must be compatible with Accentra application
Continually review, outline, create and define Umbrella procedures
Develop compliance procedures and accreditations
Literature – aid in creating literature, ensure all literature is relevant, current and compliant with UK employment and taxation laws.
Web site – Review / Content writing, ideas etc…..
Create company reports for management, sales, accounts etc….
Required Skills
In-depth knowledge of HMRC payroll calculations
In-depth knowledge of all aspects payroll, NI, expenses, legislation etc
Good people and people management skills
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
Working knowledge of Outlook
General knowledge of IT
Confident telephone manner

Good Verbal and written skills (English)
