Our client currently have a vacancy for a Planner/Estimator to join their Pre-Construction Team based at the head office in Oxted.

You will be involved in the analysis of a construction site and local environment, gaining an appreciation of the proposed build method/sequence and determining appropriate/optimum logistic solutions and associate resource levels.

Your duties will include:

Preparation of logistic plans – general site arrangements/layout 
Preparation of logistic phasing plans – logistics arrangements for individual project stages. 
Preparation of logistic proposal documents 
Assessing of logistic resource requirement (linked to construction programme) 
Preparation of logistic tender submissions including pricing schedules, tender method statement and resourced programme.

You will have proven experience of working in a similar role.    You will need to have a practical knowledge of how construction sites are organised and run, have excellent communication skills (both written and oral). It is important that you have a strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and are self-motivated, flexible, with a practical problem solving approach.

Visiting sites is a vital part of this role and therefore you need to have a full valid driving licence.
