Job Title: Counter Fraud Analyst

Job Description

Role Overview:

To analyse data with a view to identify potential fraud and disseminate this to appropriate individuals/ departments.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing and analysing the output from SIRA and reporting this back to appropriate individuals/ departments within the business

Produce set defined reports to departments using SIRA management information and add improvements or amendments as requested

Produce research that will improve business practice

Manage the rule sets within SIRA

Provide support to the Counter Fraud Controller by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPI’s and SLA’s

Job Specific Competencies:

Qualifications

Mathematical or statistical qualification an advantage

Experience

Sound experience of working within the motor insurance industry

Experience of working with SIRA or another anti-fraud tool

Strong analytical, investigation, and problem solving skills, with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems

Excellent data and statistical analysis skills

Strong IT skills with advanced Excel skills

Knowledge of motor insurance products and the motor insurance industry

Knowledge of processes used to identify fraud
