Job Description
Working within the Customer Relations team, dealing with and resolving customer complaints. This will include working with all levels of the business, including senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
To investigate the circumstances surrounding customer complaints and maintain an accurate audit trail of all communications and decisions made
To respond, either verbally or in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner to customer complaints
Interacting with the customer to maximise the chance of retention
To identify root causes and trends in complaints and provide feedback to the relevant Business team manager in order to drive superb service
Person Specification:
Ideally a graduate with 2 A levels at grade C or above (or equivalent), one of which is preferably an English course
Previous experience in a similar customer service role, ideally within the insurance sector
Experience of writing letters to customers
Excellent communicator (whether telephone, letter or email) with first class interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A confident approach to problem solving
