Job Purpose
Responsibility to develop, monitor and maintain relationships with existing brokers, insurers, and other business partners, working closely with Thames underwriters.
Meet individual sales targets throughout the Thames Product Lines and contribute towards team sales targets.
Develop new broker relationships throughout the UK and ROI.
Be responsible for Company advertising, marketing, Conferences etc

Required Tasks
To comply with FSA regulations
Develop self to maximise personal contribution to the role
Working actively to increase sales and should be able to provide creative ideas for the development of new products.
Researching actively for potential clients
Pursuing and maintaining new business relationships
Following up clients continuously and responding to client enquiries
Telephone broker connections for account development
Monitor customer accounts
Carry out customer visits for both new & existing
 
Key Result Areas
Development of suitable brokers (new and existing) throughout the UK and ROI
To meet agreed new business target levels
Proactive approach to developing profitable broker relationships
Deal with incoming enquiries from brokers
Identify Cross Sell Opportunities

No budget or staff responsibilities
 
Context – how is the role carried out?
Mainly outside office role visiting brokers and possible insurers
Develop personal relationship with individuals within brokers
 
 
Skills
Proactive approach to developing profitable broker relationships
Proficient in MS Office and with aptitude to use other MS Windows-based software
High level inter personal skills – ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
Communication skills – able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge, over the telephone and in writing
Planning, organisational and time management skills
