Role Overview
My Insurance client have a vacancy in their MI team for a Senior MI Analyst to maintain their data warehouse and associated Management Information (MI), by developing new processes and enhance existing processes, in order to provide accurate data and reports to the business.
Key Duties
Maintain and validate the group’s databases
Take a leading role in the development of new solutions that can be utilised within the MI environment
Develop SAS programs that can be utilised within the MI environment
Develop and maintain reports and data required throughout the business
Report key issues for business input, and analyse these issues to provide solutions
Liaise with other departments to understand their requirements from the systems and MI reports
Key Skills
Excellent SAS programming experience
SAS 9.2, SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 and the SAS Enterprise BI development tools (OLAP Cube Studio, Web Report Studio, Information Map Studio, Web Portal etc.)
Working with a customer focus within a commercial environment
Working within the insurance industry
Producing periodic management reports
Project management skills and leadership skills to be able to propose technical solutions to and communicating these to team members
