Job Title: Product Account Assistant


Job Description

Purpose of the Job:
 
To help account manage all allocated client mailings ensuring service excellence is achieved through
 
·         a “can-do” and efficient approach to service
·         100% quality of output for all aspects of account management
·         adherence to all deadlines/service level agreements (SLA’s) 
 
 
Main Duties:
 
·         To assist the Product Account Manger in anticipating client needs and wants & identify requirements.
 
·         To check the progress of jobs through the various stages of production.
 
·         To complete all necessary production systems documentation. 
 
·         To internally check and sign off on all documentation where appropriate (specifically print proofs, job briefs, enclosing sample packs, pre-print).
 
·         To ensure the successful delivery of client mailings through strict adherence to SLA’s and all company processes and procedures.
 
·         To communicate efficiently and effectively with the Operational and Development Teams through the process agreed. For example the instant the job is confirmed by the clients it should be booked in onto the relevant system i.e. Preparing and delivering job briefs, work requests and docket requests on time, ensuring stock is ordered / delivered on time and moved to the appropriate location.
 
·         To build rapport and develop good working relationships with the Operational and Development Teams to ensure all aspects of the clients work are understood.
 
 
 
·         Place print orders with the production team.
 
·         Data inputting
 
·         Producing weekly/monthly reports
 
·         Undertake Estimating, Stock control & Filing
 
·         To invoice clients within 3 days of completion, with the exception of those invoiced at the end of each month. Monthly invoices are to be kept up to date on a weekly basic.
 
·         When required to meet with clients to review a specific mailing campaign.
 
·         To provide support to the Product Account Manager and other areas as and when required.
 
·         To undertake any other duties as and when required.

Key skills /experience:
 
·         Flexible approach to work, adaptable to change.
 
·         Ability to prioritise work & deliver to deadlines.
 
·         Can work independently as well as part of a team.
 
·         Excellent communication at all levels.
 
·         Excellent organisational skills.
 
·         Remains calm under pressure.
 
·         PC literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Job Ref: MASS 891 Hours: Full Time Location: Dagenham / Essex Working Term: Permanent Position Salary: £25,000 - £32,000
