Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
Client Relationship Managers will book in jobs and it is our responsibility to see when this can be started and assigned to a developer. You will need to make sure we have enough information to be able to start the projects and will be the main contact to get updates on the job throughout the duration of the project. You may also be needed to help out with other small jobs throughout the office, such as printing, processing small jobs and investigating issues that may crop up.
· a “can-do” and efficient approach to service
· 100% quality of output for all aspects of account management
· adherence to all deadlines/service level agreements (SLA’s)
Main Duties:
· Schedule in new jobs, investigations and application amends within the Nexdox print team that come over via Chat, Onestep and email.
· Create schedules using Microsoft Project
· Keep schedules up to date at all times when jobs are being worked on, awaiting sign off and approved so can easily keep track.
· Assign job to a developer and give them all the relevant documents ready to start
· Estimate development time for different programming levels
· Keep track of team’s annual leave, sickness and appointments to work around jobs and time management.
- Help with the managing of the jobs sent on CHAT
- To escalate capacity planning conflicts to the relevant CRM with a resolution
· To escalate any ‘in house’ issues to the relevant team member(s) with a view of resolution to the problem.
Key skills /experience:
· Project Management Skills – be able to manage multiple projects and requests and be able to get them delivered on time. Be able to judge which developers can be assigned certain projects according to their level of experience and knowledge of C++ and C#.
· People Management Skills – Approachable to team and others in the company
· Communication Skills – with developers and the CRM’s, be able to be tactful, polite and helpful at all times. To receive, understand and pass on information to team members.
· Software to be familiar with - Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Acrobat Distiller and Adobe Acrobat. Not essential but would be helpful – Jasc Paint Shop Pro and TextPad. Will be trained on in-house software.
· To be organized, but still a flexible approach to working
