Job Description
Summary
Responsibilities will include, product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle to include:
1. gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements
2. supporting, defining the product roadmap
3. defining architectural design from technologies layers to DB design in corporation with the development teams.
The role will also ensure that products continue to support the company's overall strategy and goals.
Success in the role will be defined by products being fit for purpose, designed with the overall company’s technology strategy in mind, delivered on time and budget, satisfying client requirements and the market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End to end product lifecycle delivery.
2. Subject Matter Expert (SME) on assigned products/services.
3. Ownership of product roadmap.
4. Ownership of product backlog.
5. Provide product support to Projects Team, CRM Team, Product Account Managers and Sales.
6. Research and understand competitor products/services.
7. Work with customer facing teams on presentation and engagement to understand requirements, issues and strategic objectives.
8. Drive change to existing technical and business processes.
9. Co-ordinate and deliver product specific training and documentation.
10. Conversant with AGILE development methodologies.
11. Provide input and support to pre-sales activities (including demos, presentations, RFP/RFI responses).
12. Own client requirements, prioritisation and delivery.
13. Support Marketing in delivery of appropriate marketing collateral.
14. Work with commercial team on product pricing and models.
15. You will be required to undertake other duties as required
Key Skills and Behaviours:
1. Must be able to use Microsoft Project to manage development plans.
2. Must be able to understand Database Schema’s and have basic DB skills.
3. Must be willing to learn Microsoft .net framework and technologies as well as other technologies the company requires..
4. Understanding of end to end product lifecycle delivery.
5. Detailed knowledge of one2one output such as Transpromo, DM, Transactional and other specialist digital printing products, both print and soft delivery.
6. Self managed and highly motivated.
7. Must be technically minded and understand detailed level product functionality and behaviours.
8. Be capable of engaging at all levels within a business to understand business problems and processes and use these to drive future developments and enhancements.
9. Be capable of fostering relationships with customers and prospects.
10. Must understand business processes and how products can deliver solutions.
11. Commercially astute, and cost aware
12. Customer centric attitude with excellent client facing skills.
13. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
14. Experience in delivery in an AGILE development environment.
15. In depth understanding of transactional fulfilment industry.
16. Experience in business process mapping.
Ability to adapt to change in technologies, working practices and working procedures.Details
