Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Co-ordination and provision of risk and capital modelling analysis for managed syndicates. To provide interpretation and presentation of model results to syndicate management, group management and capital providers
MAIN DUTIES
· Assistance in the preparation of regulatory and economic capital assessments for managed syndicates.
· Assistance in the analysis of risk exposures and risk profiles
· Interpretation and presentation of modelled results to syndicate management, management and third party capital providers.
· Parameterisation of models and data analysis to support modelling work
· Provide support to managed syndicates in optimising the reinsurance/capital mix and in structuring reinsurance programmes.
· Provide support to managed syndicates and the group in optimising investment strategy.
· Provide support to managed syndicates and the group in assessing the risk exposures and capital implications of new business opportunities or of divestments.
· Provide support to managed syndicates and the group in assessment and monitoring of risk appetite.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Essential: Good knowledge of Word and Excel (or equivalents)
Desirable: Good knowledge of Igloo / stochastic modelling.
