Risk Administration Manager
Job Summary:
General administration for the Syndicate’s Underwriting systems.
Main duties:
Entry of underwriting information onto the dedicated risk recording system, including the scanning of underwriting information
Validation of data entered
Validation of signing records
Preparation of syndicate reports
Inwards wording administration
Logging and filing of expired slips
Risks on day book report to Deputy Underwriters
Manipulation of data into various claims reports using Excel
Analysis of quarterly figures to ensure the accuracy of source data
Ad hoc tasks when required.
Technical Skills:
Essential:
Word - Intermediate
Excel – Intermediate
Use of an Insurance database
Education and Qualifications:
Essential:
5 ‘O’ Level / GCSE including English and Maths at grade C or above, A-levels
Desirable:
Lloyd’s Introductory Test
Relevant Experience:
Essential:
marine insurance experience preferably within Lloyd’s.
Good slip knowledge ( will be tested).
Personal Skills:
Team player.
Flexible at all times.
Approachable.
Liaise with staff at all levels.
Self motivated.
Capable of working to deadlines.
Attention to detail.
Proper regard for accuracy.
Other Responsibilities:
Other tasks as required to assist the Risk Administration Manager.

Hours of work:
9.30am to 5.30pm
