Job Description
A position has become available for a Claims Administrator in the Professional Lines Team. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience in dealing with professional indemnity claims, from a Broker, Company Market or Lloyds background, although good cross class experience would be considered.
The position will include but not be limited to the following;
- considering policy coverage
- dealing with broker files at daily appointments
- instructing solicitors/adjusters and liaising with them throughout the claim
- administering claims in accordance with client requirements
- keeping the database updated
The successful candidate will need to have;
- experience and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- experience and knowledge of the relevant Pre-Action Protocols
- experience of handling claims in a cost effective and pro-active manner
- experience of the London Market
- experience of ECF and Class would be beneficial
Further, the successful candidate will need to be;
- used to dealing with Clients
- articulate
- diligent
- organised
- presentable
- able to work unsupervised
