A position has become available at one of our client’s for a Claims Technician in the Professional Lines Team. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of one years experience in dealing with professional indemnity claims, from either a Company Market, Lloyds or a broker background. Progression towards the ACII qualification would be beneficial, although not essential as our client encourages and supports full study to attain your professional qualification.

The position will include but not be limited to the following;

- Considering policy coverage

- Dealing with broker files at daily appointments

- Instructing solicitors/adjusters and liaising with them throughout the claim

- Administering claims in accordance with client requirements

- Keeping the Company database updated

The successful candidate will need to have;

- A basic understanding and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

- Experience of handling claims in a cost effective and pro-active manner

- Experience of the London Market 

- Experience of ECF and Class would be beneficial

Further, the successful candidate will need to be;

- Used to dealing with Clients

- Articulate

- Diligent

- Organised

- Presentable 

- Able to work unsupervised
