Job summary:
. Within the marketing department, in our new Product Management team, your role will be to work closely with the sales & sales support teams to implement best practice marketing and pricing techniques to maximise both renewal and new business premium income for warranty and ensure the complete client satisfaction with our marketing service. Your role will require that you get involved in the detail of analysing existing client account performance and producing recommendation papers detailing plans of how to increase the income within an account or sector
Responsibilities:
Build marketing relationships with clients and visit where necessary, liaising through the sales team.
Roll out recently launched new products sector as requested, liaising with the sales and sales support teams, and briefing internal departments as and where necessary
Understand the legal issues e.g. DPA/TPS/MPS that affect marketing to the sectors and implement change where necessary to maximise premium income.
Make changes where necessary to the artwork involved in a test and take responsibility for sign off.
Analyse reports on all kpi’s and metrics supplied to you and provide recommendations for future reporting required, and to the current performance of schemes.
Analyse marketing budget performance stats monthly and highlight any deficits providing plans for changes required to turn performance around.
Provide evidence via a report that you have spot checked all mailing reports and have recommended solutions to resolve problems (e.g. any failings in operations such as mailers not going out on time)
Review our current portfolio of products and be creative about targeting customers in the future. Planning well ahead for specific marketing campaigns.
Understand through market research the marketplace for each sector e.g. volume/size/product and the competitive environment.
Develop and implement new premium generating ideas for all sectors.
Develop and implement new product developments for all sectors.
Use the retention strategy set for each sector and carry out appropriate actions.
Ensure that we are maximizing data being converted onto the system by reviewing scanned guarantee card procedures, electronic data file procedures, and scrutinizing verifications and rejections.
Compare the GFK top 10 selling products report with card returns to ensure cards are going into boxes. Provide feedback to Product Management and Sales Teams by publishing results.
Get involved in project work as and when required such as “monthly pay monthly”, or a new client win.
Attend and participate in the monthly Product Management meeting.
Ad-hoc work delegated to you by the Head of Product Management, or Senior Product Manager.
Get involved in setting up campaigns/tests using Campaign Management & Business Objects tools.
