JOB SPECIFICATION Job Title: Snr Oil Insurance Co-Ordinator Bonus Discretionary Hours of Work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Annual Leave 23 days per calendar year Probationary Period 3 months Department: Insurance Education & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Educated to degree level (or equivalent), as a minimum requirement Fully or part ACII qualified At least 5 years marine cargo claims handling experience Ability to hit the ground running and add value immediately Key Responsibilities Cargo claims (oil and metal including marine, in-land transit and storage) for physical loss/damage etc; Responsible for the back-up, handling and general day-to-day house keeping of some of the commodity group's insurance requirements (coverage advice, ensuring declarations and payment of invoices all on time, reviewing clauses, contracts etc). Assisting with the handling of shipping disputes principally involving Charterer's Legal Liability insurance but may also include Hull and Machinery, Protection and Indemnity; Assistance on non-marine classes of insurance on an as and when basis.
