Job Description
Field Service Technician (Nationwide)
Our client is a leading manufacturer of heat pumps and dehumidifiers.
Candidate will be willing to carry out on-site fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance in a confident manner. The Technician will report directly to the Service Manager on a daily basis. The area covered will be nationwide, and from time to time the successful candidate will be expected to stay overnight for two or three nights per week.
Personal Specification:
1. Good customer liaison and communication skills
2. A timed served apprenticeship with a reputable company within the
HVAC industry
3. A recognised industry award scheme in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector. Air handling, air movement and ductwork commissioning experience.
4. Basic plumbing skills and knowledge of domestic heating.
5. Able to work unsupervised and be confident to liaise with end users, installation contractors and distributors.
6. Good time keeping and a reliable attitude towards work.
7. A full clean UK driving licence.
8. Able to offer technical support over the telephone.
9. Full product training will be provided but product knowledge will be advantageous.
