HOURS OF WORK: 9.30am to 5.30pm EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential: 2:1 Honours Degree or better. 'A' Level Maths Grade B or better. Desire to sit the Actuarial Exams. We will consider candidates with up to 5 CT passes in the actuarial exams. TECHNICAL SKILLS Essential: Good knowledge of Excel and Word (or equivalent) Desirable: Good IT skills including knowledge of VBA and Access JOB SUMMARY To support the Syndicate Actuaries in all actuarial work and to contribute to the Department's analytical, reporting and planning roles. MAIN DUTIES Assisting with quarterly reserve reviews for Our client's managed syndicates. Assisting with the preparation of annually accounted figures on a quarterly basis Assisting with the preparation of long-term group forecasting projections on a quarterly basis Production, development and enhancement of exhibits and reports to the Board and its Committees Actuarial input into the planning process for Our client's managed syndicates. Project support as required. Providing support to other members of the actuarial department on an ad hoc basis when required.
