Job Title:
Purchasing and Contracts Assistant
Summary:
Responsible for assisting in all procurement and administration
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining supplier contracts and being aware of significant clauses
* Assisting with procurement (re)negotiations
* Processing invoices and costs allocations
* Obtaining quotations
* Co-ordinate annual reviews, risk assessments, onsite maintenance, etc
* Background research, including manipulation of data
* Booking travel and accommodation
Ad hoc or additional:
The above represents the key areas of responsibility within your role, however you may be required to cover additional duties as and when required.
Qualifications:
Professional Qualifications:
Maths GCSE Grade A - C (or equivalent) (Desirable)
Skills/Personal Qualities:
A flexible and proactive approach to work is required, as is an ability to organise and prioritise workloads
Ability to follow instructions / procedures within specific timetables
Attention to detail as accuracy is important
Computer literacy and keyboard skills
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of Excel and Word
