Job Title: Data Analyst X2 Location: London Salary: £24k - £40k depending on experience Based within The Statistics and Underwriting team the departments primary responsibility is setting net premiums and monitoring profitability through analysis and reporting Main Duties will be to produce a range of Client & Internal reports Providing Management Information & Data Analysis upon which underwriting decisions can be made. Upodating exisiting analytical reports and data sets to be viewed by various other departments. Creating financial projections, involved in budgeting and forecasting. You will be reporting to the Underwriting and Statistics Manager, and the Statistics Team Leader and will need to provide assistance and work closely with all members of the Underwriting and Statistics department. Key Requirements 'A' Level Maths is essential. 1-2 years experience working in a similar environment. Educated to degree level, a mathematical based subject would be preferential. Good numeracy and analytical skills are required. PC Literate, good knowledge of Excel. Experience of analysing, processing and manipulating large quantities of raw data. Ability to present findings to individuals and other departments, and, or for external use, in a clear, concise format. Flexible approach to work, ability to work on your own initiative. Organise and prioritise workloads, complete work to specific deadlines. Able to work in a team, show enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
