Reporting To:

Claims Section Leader.

Key Purpose:

The efficient and effective handling of personal caseload of claims

Composing and producing relevant letters, memos and other documentation Handling all aspects of Third Party Motor Claims, including credit hire, loss of earnings and personal injury i.e. whiplash, broken bones etc.

Ad Hoc or Additional:

The above represents the key areas of responsibility within your role.

However you may be required to cover additional duties as and when needed.

Attributes Required:

Ability to work under own initiative and within a team.

Ability to prioritise caseload and work under pressure and to deadlines.

Common sense and ability to problem solve on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

Maths GSCE Grade A-C

English GCSE Grade A-C

Insurance related qualification Skills:

Essential Computer literacy and keyboard skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent Negotiation skills.

Experience:

Essential Minimum 5 years handling all aspects of motor claims.

Desirable Experience of handling motor trade, self drive hire and private hire claims.
