Job Summary
This is a key role in supporting the evolution of our client into a marketing-led, customer-centric organisation. In this role your contribution will be key to maximising the potential of our client partnerships. You will manage the development and maintenance of compelling product propositions across multiple business sectors in line with the UK strategic plan, and ensure achievement of New Business and Renewal turnover targets. Your Product & Account Management teams will support you in ensuring that these propositions add maximum value to our client and their business partners.
You will manage the effectiveness of these propositions in terms of cost of business acquisition, supporting achievement of their profitability targets, as well as ensuring alignment with key initiatives set out in their Strategic plan.
As a key figure within your business area you will process multiple streams of information from other areas of our client; coordinating the delivery of propositions and key project benefits.
Key Objectives
•Deliver UK financial targets in terms of operating profit, warranty new business and renewal revenue.
•Develop compelling propositions for each sector and client, ensuring pricing is optimised to maximise long term value and drive cross-selling opportunities where appropriate, focusing always on customer and client satisfaction.
•Ensure that compelling and challenging business plans are developed and maintained for all sectors, major accounts and key business projects. All plans should be compiled in collaboration with key functions, including marketing colleagues, sales and underwriting.
•Develop a culture of proactive working across functions within the Marketing department, and across key departments sharing best practice to ensure the company is driven to optimal performance;
•Develop capabilities within the Product and Account Management team to ensure successful delivery of UK Strategic and Tactical plans. Ensure we have the right people in the right roles, performing to a high standard and develop a succession plan to ensure the ongoing development and growth of the Product and Account Management team.
•Take ownership of key UK strategic plan activities.
Skills required:
You will be self-motivated and keen to learn, seeking out opportunities to broaden your knowledge, skills and capabilities. You will be target driven with an ability to influence at all levels within the organisation and will demonstrate an impressive product management track record spanning at least 3 years.
