Job Description
Working for a leading Lloyds Syndicate, you will be supporting the Syndicate Actuaries in all actuarial work and to contribute to the Department's analytical, reporting and planning roles.
Candidate must have good knowledge of Excel and Word (or equivalent), be degree educated and ideally started or at least begun study towards actuarial qualification.
Applicants should possess previous expereince working in an actuarial environment in the Insurance market, ideally Non Life, be able to work in a team, be self-motivated, confident and reliable.
Main Duties include:
Quarterly reserve reviews of all the groups syndicates.
Running, checking and enhancement of reserving and reporting models.
Data management.
Preparation of long-term group forecasting projections.
Development and enhancement of management reports to the Board and its Committees.
Project support.
As this role is very open in terms of expected experience levels, a salary of between £30,000 to £50,000 plus benefits will be paid in accordance to the successful incumbents previous experience.
