Job Description
The Role:
The main focus of this role will be to be to manage the Business Change Operations team on a day-to-day basis, take ownership of projects and ensure successful delivery. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills as the successful candidate must be able to convey and present projects and information to all levels of staff. They must ensure ideas are challenged, change requests are valid and appropriate and delivery is by the most effective and efficient means.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of a team of Business Analysts and Project Managers with a varying range of experience. Provide the point of escalation for the team for any project issues. Ensure the correct processes and procedures are adhered to.
Management of Schemes Analysts, which is an area of growth. The focus is on supporting the growth of this area whilst keeping processes as simple and efficient as possible.
Represent the UK at the Group Change Forum. This group is responsible for improving the way change is managed across the group, via recommendations to the Operations Leadership Team. They are responsible for the implementation of consistent change processes and tools across the group.
Manage the UK change plan by working closely with the UK Leadership Team to agree and prioritise UK projects. Also responsible for resourcing the plan and resolving any resource issues by escalating to the UKLT. Requires close relationship with IT to assist with pipeline planning, and resourcing.
Providing input to major change projects as appropriate
Create business case and feasibility studies were required
Have a thorough understanding of business processes and be able to identify areas for process improvement
Person Specification:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills
Experience of project and change management would be preferable
Personal drive, energy and commitment
Desire for continuous improvement and personal growth
Able to positively adapt to the environment and changes within projects and structures
Creative thinking
Well organised, able to manage own time and that others
