Job Title: Pricing Analyst

Job Description

Overview

Carrying out actuarial work in respect of commercial lines pricing and portfolio analysis.

You will be providing Model Development and Commercial Underwriter support, as well as being involved with Reserving and Capital Modelling

Main Duties will consist of:

Maintenance and development of commercial lines pricing models and assumptions.

Account/Contract Pricing.

Support of Lloyd’s Price Monitoring Data process and inputs.

Rate change support for Underwriters.

Actuarial appraisal of new commercial lines underwriting opportunities.

Input into the reserving process for commercial lines, particularly for the casualty classes.

Technically you will be a high level user of MS Excel & VBA, and ideally you will also have experience with Igloo.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a Mathematics, Science, Economics, Finance (or similar numerate subject).

Progression towards FIA qualification will be encouraged.
