Capital Modelling Analyst

Job Summary:

To provide assistance to the departmental manager in all aspects of the work conducted within the Capital Modelling department at our clients company.

Main Duties:

Assistance in the preparation of Individual Capital Assessments (ICAs) for all managed syndicates, including updates, as and when required.

Igloo programming and development of Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) models.

Parameterisation of models and data analysis to support modelling work.

Interpretation and presentation of modelled results to various groups within the company.

Assisting the department manager in all other aspects of risk and capital modelling.

Applicants should possess good knowledge of Word and Excel (or equivalents) and data manipulation and be Degree educated (- 2(i) or better) in a numerate discipline.

Some work experience in the financial services, preferably general insurance would be desirable, but this is in no means essential if you can outline your genuine interest in this role and a career within the London Insurance Market.
