Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity with a Lloyds Managing Agent for an Analyst with a strong background in Capital Modelling.
You will be tasked with the coordination and provision of capital modelling analysis for managed syndicates, assisting in the preparation of Individual Capital Assessments (ICAs).
Parameterisation of models and data analysis to support modelling work and interpretation and presentation of modelled results to syndicate management and third party capital providers.
Provide support to managed syndicates in optimising the reinsurance/capital mix and in structuring reinsurance programmes and provide support to managed syndicates and the group in optimising investment strategy.
Provide support to managed syndicates in assessing the capital implications of new business opportunities or of divestments and assist in development of Solvency II framework for managed syndicates and the group.
Applicants should have strong knowledge of Word and Excel (or equivalents) and ideally exposure to Igloo / stochastic modelling.
Ideally you will have at least two years general insurance experience and be Degree educated in a numerate discipline and be progressing towards FIA or FFA.
