Job Title: Retention Manager
Location: London

An exciting opportunity for an experienced a Commercial Marketing professional to join my London based Insurance client.

You will be responsible for the following:

1.       Lead the development of retention and win-back strategies across all business sectors and contact channels, driving long-term value propositions;
2.       Analyse and interpret relevant campaign results and other KPIs and MI, monitoring performance to optimise results;
3.       Ensure best practice and learnings are shared across the business;
4.       Control acquisition / retention costs, ensuring initiatives are within timescales and budgets, and costs reflect the future profitability of the initiative;
5.       Review pricing in-line with budgets and strategic planning;
6.       Develop "Test and Learn" activity across relevant campaigns;
7.       Develop customer lifetime value and optimum products in line with strategic plans;
8.       Work closely with the Customer Insight and Product teams to understand customer behaviour, product performance and the marketplace;
9.       Understand through market research the marketplace for each sector e.g. volume / size / product and the competitive environment;
10.    Understand the legal issues e.g. DPA / TPS / MPS that affect our marketing and implement change where necessary;
11.    Product and analyse required reports on all KPIs / metrics and develop strategies to improve performance where necessary;
12.    Attend & participate in monthly meetings, providing presentations where necessary.

The ideal Candidate will have the following attributes:

1.       Will be a Marketing professional with a strong commercial bias gained in a B2C environment;
2.       Will have prior experience of managing customer retention programmes;
3.       Will be driven with the ability to develop solid relationships at all levels;
4.       Numerate, analytical with exceptional attention to detail;
5.       Sound interpersonal and presentation skills;
6.       Ability to understand and develop knowledge of the industry
