Job Title: Underwriting Manager - Life, Accident & Sickness

Job Description

We are working with a major insurer who are looking to recruit a Senior Underwriter with a strong background in Personal lines, principally life, accident, sickness and unemployment

The successful applicant will be responsible for the analysis and review of existing performance and recommend and implement changes where necessary. Price new business and assist in product design whilst working closely with the Sales & Marketing team to assist in gaining new prospects and managing new business launches successfully.

In addition, the successful incumbent will also be responsible for budget review and reporting, together with the management of the Outwards Reinsurance.

Applicants will need a good underwriting and technical knowledge within Life, accident, sickness and / or unemployment underwriting, good mathematical and analytical abilities with an eye for detail and the ability to cope under pressure and work to tight deadlines.

Job Ref: MRL696 Hours: Full Time Location: Working Term: Permanent Position Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
