Job Description
To deal with the Day to Day support calls/emails from the Tradex offices
Process/deal with support calls/issues in a timely and accurate manner
Liaise with system providers and other IT department personnel where appropriate
User Acceptance Testing where appropriate
Identify training needs of users
Identify system enhancements where appropriate
Identify acceptable/unacceptable risks using underwriting knowledge
Ad hoc or additional:
To assist with the future product development of the products on the system.
Gain working knowledge of documentation production software, to provide additional support to existing team.
The above represents the key areas of responsibility within your role, however you may be required to cover additional duties as and when required.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years motor underwriting experience (essential)
Skills/Personal Qualities:
Computer literacy and keyboard skills (essential)
Must have a good working knowledge in at least one motor underwriting skill product, i.e. Taxi or Motor Trade or Fleet (essential - ideally all).
Proactive
Good communicator
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be willing to go the extra mile
Accuracy and attention to detail
Patience is a must
Must be able to prioritise workloads
Common sense; logical mind and the ability to problem solve on an ad-hoc basis
