An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Analyst to join this London based Insurance Company.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-

Numerical degree.
Experience of working in large team.
Managerial experience desired.
SAP / BI experience preferred.
Cognos experience preferred.
Advanced excel & macro skills.
3-4 years relevant experience.

Key duties & Responsibilities:

Develop team / department members to take a full and responsible part in supporting and developing the Underwriting & Statistics function.
Develop, agree and implement the Board’s strategies with regard to the pricing, profitability and statistics of the Group’s business.
Monitor and report on scheme profitability on monthly basis.
Identify trends and recommend remedial action where necessary.
Production and analysis of internal management information on monthly basis.
Production and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports for clients.
Reporting and control (audit checks) of information received from I.T.
Ad hoc production of statistics for internal and external consumption.
Work closely with Directors / Managers / Operational team to ensure service levels are met and to maintain market leadership.
Review internal controls and outline key business risks and high level controls which are in place.
