(General Insurance Litigation / Property Related Claims)

Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a 4 - 5 year PQE solicitor to join our Property Insurance and Construction Group as a team leader.
You will be an ambitions senior assistant solicitor with a background in handling material damage and coverage claims on behalf of insurers.
You will have experience in and an aptitude for supervising others.
You will manage a team of file handlers and lawyers handling subrogated claims on a delegated scheme relating to material damage and business interruption claims (which often raise policy coverage issues) on behalf of insurers.
In this capacity you must be committed to actively managing technical ,strategic and associated issues in respect of any given claim.
The role includes responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance practices throughout the team and also includes responsibility for collecting and controlling management data through established IT software.
You will report to the supervising partner in respect of all management issues and you will also have your own caseload of similar material damage and property insurance claims .
You will assist the supervising partner in developing and maintaining client relationships.
