Department: Specialist Car Division

Main Purpose of Role:

To deal with New Business, Quotations, Mid-Term Adjustments and Renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal with correspondence from Clients:

Must resolve queries satisfactorily by using experience and knowledge of Insurance underwriting requirements.

Deal with Telephone Enquiries:

Must be able to deal with telephone enquiries without supervision, except in the case of underwriting matters outside your authority.

Direct Input:

To competently add or amend information gained from the Client by direct input onto the Computer Policy record.

Issue Cover Notes:

Cover Notes must be issued on the correct basis and contain all relevant information including terms and conditions.

Technical Knowledge:

Comprehensive knowledge of Insurer’s Underwriting Guides, Policy Wording, Endorsements and Schemes is essential.
