One of our Insurance clients in Brentwood requires an Internal Systems Analyst to join their IT Liaison Department.
 
Candidates need to have an insurance background (whether Broker or Underwriting) and strong communication skills is a must as you will be managing projects and will need to liaise with various areas of the business (Underwriting, IT etc).
You must have accuracy, be methodical and have excellent attention to detail  as the system needs to be updated on a regular basis (rate reviews, underwriting guides etc) and it's critical that this is error free as the system is used to generate quotes, changes in policies etc. The information is provided by the Underwriters but they are looking for candidates with insurance experience so they have a good understanding of u/w guides etc - and can therefore query any data etc coming through.

The job function will include:

Updating management tables – e.g. rate reviews, underwriting guides.
Assisting with change requests and enhances to the systems.
Involved in, and monitoring, process of project work and User Acceptance Testing.
Advising the business on solutions to processes.
This is a business critical role.

Candidates must have:

Ability to deliver projects and changes on time.
Ideally have experience of RTM system (looking for candidates with a good background and in depth knowledge).
Although will consider candidates who have knowledge of other insurance systems.
Strong co-ordination skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy as system changes need to be error free.
Be highly motivated.
Be effective decision makers.
Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
Can work well in a team.
Strong Excel and Word skills.
Presentable.
Good communicator.
Assertive - as liaising with Deputy and Class Underwriters.
 
This is a permanent role and the salary is negotiable depending on experience, skills etc.
