My clients are looking for a Senior Claims Broker to present and negotiate a variety of losses for all classes of business, (but Aviation and Marine in the main), to carriers and communicate results to the client.
To ensure all documentation is accurately entered onto all systems used by the Claims Department and that paper and electronic claims files are handled in accordance with internal and market procedures.
To report to the Claims Manager any issues arising with the handling of claims.
To continue their own professional development in accordance with the company and Claims Department requirements

Accountabilities/Deliverables:

General To ensure clients claims are resolved to the satisfaction of all parties associated with the contract of insurance or reinsurance placed by the company.
To deliver value to the company and their clients.

Knowledge/Skills (Qualifications):

Lloyds Introductory Test.

Key Competencies:

Ability to assume the handling of new losses in various classes of business placed by the company and related claims practice and learn new skills where necessary.
Diligent attitude.
Ability to deal with all levels of seniority within the Management of the company.
