Job Title: Trade Support Analyst

Department:
Trade Support Prime Brokerage

Main Responsibilities:

Within a Trade Support team (5 people covering 50 brokers), you will be asked to perform following duties on exchange traded derivatives products:
Trade Capture of all electronic/phone executions done by the trading desk or clients.
Check-outs with third party brokers or customers to ensure accuracy of transactions/allocations.
Trade reconciliation - internal system versus exchange traded volumes, P&L calculation, tickets versus billing system etc.
Manage relationships with trading desks, customers, external brokers, client services and back office.
Produce confirmations and send the to respective counterparties.
Reconcile executions versus bookings on an intraday basis to control risk efficiently.
Intraday unclaimed follow-up, defaults reporting to Front-office, historical query resolution.
Intraday load of billing records in GMI plus associated reconciliation process.
Run statistics in order to report accurate desk traded volumes.
New account opening in Trade Support tools.
Ensure static data for instruments/counterparties is correctly set up.
Monitor exception queues to ensure intraday business is running smoothly.
Work on new projects exposure to modernise company and team workflow.
Escalate material problems and issues in a professional manner to direct reporting line.
Any other ad hoc tasks as required for the role.

Professional/Technical Skills Required:

Product Coverage:
Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options).
Liffe, Eurex, ICE, CME and CBOT required.
Understanding of market risk associated to trading activity.
Understanding of clearing workflows (from trading to settlement)

Technical/Systems knowledge:

Any in-house middle office engine.
Experience with electronic trading platforms.
Clearing houses interfaces (TRS, Eurex GUI, and Clearing21).
ClearVision/Emos would be desirable.
Microsoft Office package knowledge is essential (Access, Excel)

Person Skills:

Team player and ability to work under pressure within a challenging area Quick learner, persistent and showing tenacity.
Good Market Knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure within a challenging area.
Good adaptability to new systems and able to propose new ideas of how workflow can be managed.
Middle Office past experience is essential.
Back-Office past experience is desirable.
E-trading exposure would be a plus.
