Job Description
My client has a position that has become available for a Senior Claims Administrator in their Professional Lines Team.
They are looking for someone that has a minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with professional indemnity claims, from either a Company Market, Lloyds or a broker background.
Applicants will ideally possess previous experience of dealing with the following classes of business, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officer and Bankers Blanket Bond.
Progression towards the ACII qualification would also be beneficial, although not essential.
The position will include but not be limited to the following;
Considering policy coverage.
Dealing with broker files at daily appointments Instructing solicitors/adjusters and liaising with them throughout the claim Administering claims in accordance with client requirements.
Keeping the company database updated
The successful candidate will need to have;
Experience and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Experience and knowledge of the relevant Pre-Action Protocols Experience of handling claims in a cost effective and pro-active manner.
Experience of the London Market.
Experience of ECF and Class would be beneficial.
