Overall Purpose of job:
My clients are looking for a Senior Technician to achieve objectives agreed at your Performance Development Review.
Provide an accurate and efficient service to clients, in line with the company and department’s procedures, agreed service standards, insurer and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Display and develop competencies defined in our Soft & Technical Skills Guidelines.
Take ownership of your own development and maintain accurate records of your development needs and learning activities (Personal Development Plan and Learning Log).
Monitor and coach others as required to achieve and maintain competence.
Understand and demonstrate our values (Understanding, Protecting, Caring and Evolving).
Work as an active member of a team delivering our Service Offering / Client Proposition.
Close teamwork with Account Managed Team and in particular with Account Executives and Account Managers.
Deliver growth through your client relationships (e.g. referrals, risk management, up-selling and cross-selling).
Demonstrate support for team / company objectives at all times and in particular in the absence of the Manager.
Refer to the Soft & Technical Skills Guidelines for an explanation of skill levels required for the role.
When an enquiry falls outside your own knowledge and experience, refer at all times as necessary.
Delivering our Values:
Understanding - Gather and Share Client / Prospect Information (New Business, Renewal, MTA or Claim - Understand Issues, Needs, Motivations and Expectations) Office based information gathering - Telephone in preference to email.
Occasional client visits - if a clear purpose.
Recognise and notify changes to the Account Executive.
Maintain accurate client records.
