Job Description
Reporting to: Accident and Health Underwriting Manager
Purpose:
To provide support to the Accident and Health Underwriting team / Claims Liaison Officer.
Principal Objectives:
To assist with production of statistics in line with the required criteria.
To assist with preparation of claims statistics required for reporting for the Accident and Health, Household and Property Departments under the guidance of the Claims Liaison Officer.
To assist with the entry of premium and claims figures into Syndicate Support and other departmental systems.
To assist with preparation of premium and claims statistics for renewals.
To assist with the maintenance of departmental systems documentation under the guidance of the Accident and Health Underwriting Manager.
To assist with the maintenance of workflow reports and of the daily system diary.
Nature and Scope:
Responsible for organising own workload to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Able to communicate effectively with staff to provide support as required.
Taking messages in respect of incoming calls and helping where possible in a professional manner.
To maintain a high degree of reliability, discretion and accuracy in all aspects of the work.
To demonstrate excellent personal computing and organisational skills.
To perform any other duties as reasonably requested according to the needs of the Department.
