Purpose:
To co-ordinate the delivery of Sales projects and to represent Sales on company-wide deals / initiatives.
Job Description:
Represent Sales on company-wide deals / initiatives.
To co-ordinate the delivery of Sales projects through the full project lifecycle from initial scoping to closure.
Plan, design, drive and deliver Sales initiatives.
Establish a governance structure for each initiative.
Report progress against project plans to key stakeholders.
Identify resource required to meet deliverables.
Co-ordinate resources, including internal and external stakeholders, who are contributing to the project.
Work with key stakeholders in all areas of the business (depending on initiative) to ensure effective communication.
Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes within each initiative.
Key Performance Indictors:
Projects meet key business objectives.
Maintains effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to deliver innovative approaches to deliver projects.
Challenges project contributors to drive continuous improvement.
Completes project status reporting in a timely manner.
Ensures items are managed, communicated and escalated appropriately.
Contributes to team and process improvement initiatives and works effectively with the Head of Sales Operations.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Ability to work autonomously and drive project delivery and success in a challenging and dynamic business environment.
Ability to draw upon project management and business analysis good practice to deliver a pragmatic and productive approach to project management and delivery.
Ability to engage and work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including executive sponsors, management and IT developers.
Good working knowledge of product development and delivery lifecycles.
Good all round business and commercial awareness.
Highly developed and flexible written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office suite products including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project.
Strong influencing skills.
Desirable:
Experience of project delivery in a financial services environment.
Good workshop facilitation skills.
Practical experience of managing “agile” development processes.
