Main Duties:

The purpose of this position is to develop and deploy Enterprise Data architecture, standards and processes to improve the management of information and data throughout its lifecycle across all I.T applications.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the design and development of the architecture for all business intelligence components (e.g. tool integration strategy; source system data ETL strategy, data staging, movement and aggregation; information and analytics delivery; and data quality strategy).
Plan and organise requirements solicitation sessions through interview, shadowing or workshops with business users.
Analyse findings and translate requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plan.
Establish relationships throughout the business to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of process, policy and system changes.
Support the development and test teams in translating the functional specifications into technical design and test scenarios and execute test plans.
Commitment to continuous development through structured skills and personal or professional competence enhancement programmes.

Experience and Qualifications Technical Skills:

Excellent knowledge of current Microsoft products.
Good understanding of development lifecycle.
Knowledge of Kimball Methods.
Good understanding of UML.
Understanding of full development lifecycle.

Relevant Experience:

Essential to have worked within an IT Department in a similar role.

Education and Qualifications:

Job holders will be expected to pass the Lloyd’s Introductory Test (LIT).
Degree Educated.
