Job Description
Reporting to:
IT Consultant / MID Database Administrator
Key Purpose:
Maintaining and updating databases on a daily basis and ensuring all errors are corrected within a timely manner and within the timescale set.
Areas of responsibility:
Maintaining all aspects of the database and ensuring the information is up to date.
Produce and submit reports as required.
Check the MID reports daily for any errors or corrections and advise people accordingly.
Advise and chase policies with errors appearing on reports.
Dealing with incoming queries and referring where necessary.
Maintaining WEB and SMS processes.
Uploading vehicle changes to other Branches.
Dealing with policy holder queries.
Dealing with program queries.
Ad Hoc or Additional:
Dealing with all aspects of administration on an ad hoc basis and answering the telephones as and when required.
The above represents the key areas of responsibility within your role.
However you may be required to cover additional duties as and when needed.
Attributes Required:
Good Communication skills.
Ability to work under own initiative.
Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
Common sense and ability to problem solve on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
A good understanding of the MID rules
Essential A good knowledge of Vehicle Models
Essential Good typing skills - Essential Qualifications 5 GSCE’s Grade A-D or equivalent
Desirable Skills Computer literacy and keyboard skills
Essential Experience Previous knowledge of Paradox computer system
Desirable Experience within the company
