European Clearing Operations

Daily Responsibilities:

Work within a team of analysts responsible for the direct market settlement of German and Clear-stream trades.
Along with the Treasury group ensure all funding requirements are met to facilitate the settlement of trades whilst actively managing account cash positions.
Manage the related stock and cash reconciliation processes on a daily basis.
Compile and complete daily and monthly MIS requirements.
Maintain up to date documented departmental procedures.
Increase levels of efficiency, whilst reducing risk by continuous review of procedures, processes and through analysing system capabilities and proposing and documenting perspective developments.
Work with the Corporate actions and dividend group to ensure that all German events are paid, claimed and acted on in a timely manner, and recorded as per standard operating procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Have at least 3 years multi-market settlements experience, Germany experience would be a significant advantage.
In depth knowledge of CASCADE would be a significant advantage but is not crucial.
Must have good initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision taking ownership and responsibility.
Capable of performing in a pressurised environment.
Must possess good time management skills.
Have the ability to quickly grasp new systems and self teach.

Positions reports to the Supervisor German Settlements.
