Job Description
The company launched its financial spread betting service, Capital Spreads, in 2003. We now also provide a “white label” spread betting service to many 3rd parties including BetFair, Paddy Power and E*TRADE.
Due to the rapid growth of their business, they are looking for a new individual to join the spread betting team.
We are bound by SLA agreements with most of our White Label partners which require that deliver a high level of support in an efficient and friendly manner.
It has always been the policy at the company to provide the highest level of Customer Support and our team pride themselves on the service that they provide.
Job Description:
The New Accounts Executive will be an integral part of our fast growing Customer Support team.
The candidate will be overseen by and report to the Customer Support Manager.
The Executive will focus primarily on the Policies and Procedures required to process and open new financial spread betting accounts.
They will also provide assistance to other members of the Capital Spreads Customer Support team.
After appropriate training, the role will include:
Reviewing, approving and opening of spread betting accounts including assessing client suitability.
Training in “Know Your Client” and “Treating Customers Fairly” procedures.
Processing faxes, post and phone enquiries relating to account applications.
Preparation, maintenance and filing and scanning of client documentation.
Generation of letters for new and prospective customers.
Preparation and dispatch of brochures to prospective customers.
Depositing cheques into the bank.
Organising and ordering stationary.
Working with the marketing department in the set up and production of spread betting seminars and other events.
Other general office duties.
Required Skills & Abilities:
This role would suit a bright, enthusiastic, efficient 2nd jobber looking to work in a busy and challenging environment.
The candidate will be working under a great deal of pressure at times and must feel able to cope with extremely hectic periods.
The candidate should be friendly and helpful individual, have an excellent telephone manner and look to fit well with the rest of the Customer Support team.
This role should suit someone that is interested in carving a career in the financial services world.
This role has good prospects for promotion.
Qualifications:
Minimum A/B Maths GCSE
Minimum A/B English Language GCSE
Minimum typing 45wpm
Prior experience of Excel and Word, in particular, mail-merge
