Objective:

Part of the Company , is located in the City of London, employs 170 people and covers the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, South Africa and the Nordics. Keen on quality of products and services, and driven by its development in a competitive environment, the company now requires a new Software Engineer to work in the Development Team to accompany the current client growth.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will become a member of the development team located in London, participating in improving our software and our technical support for other teams working essentially in Europe, US and Asia.

We are looking for a person who can develop code to interface complex systems such as financial exchanges and order management systems. They should be self motivated and capable of dealing with intricate problems, code and test solutions working with project managers to specify and with quality assurance teams.

Follow-up from opening to closure R&D projects involving both QA and software development tasks spread across various teams.
Plan various tasks and be able to report progress compare to initial planning.
Contribute to R&D specification work for both functional and technical aspects.
Need to closely follow-up QA effort and assist them so that any issues are quickly qualified and correctly classified.
Work closely with the CTO and provide an efficient reporting.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Require knowledge of financial markets and front-office business
Good organization skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good knowledge of software cycle
Previous experience in software development is a plus
Technical skills must include some database and UNIX knowledge.
